- Electronics, lithium batteries: You can bring along 15 electronic devices powered by lithium batteries below 100 Wh, while an extra 20 lithium batteries or power banks not exceeding 100 Wh may accompany these devices. However, if you want to transport a device containing a lithium battery having less than or equal to 160Wh you should ask for permission first (KLM). No device with a battery larger than =160Wh is ever allowed on board. Spare Lithium batteries/ power banks are only allowed inside your hand baggage.
- Electronic cigarettes: Never place an electronic cigarette into checked luggage.
- Smart bags: If this battery is removed from your smart bag fitted with a non-button cell lithium battery; otherwise don’t take it onboard or even put it into the baggage compartment.

Prohibited Items in Checked Baggage
The following items are prohibited in checked baggage according to KLM Aruba:
- Electronic cigarettes
- Smart luggage with non-removable lithium batteries
- Firearms: firearms and ammunition for hunting and shooting can be transported as checked baggage. You should hold the proper permits and licenses required as well as book transportation for them.
